Job Description

What you'll do

  • Technical Leadership: Lead the design and development of software aligned with ARCOS’s strategic goals. Promote code quality and engineering best practices (clean code, design patterns, code reviews, and unit testing). Solve complex technical challenges with both short-term and long-term solutions.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members across departments. Mentor junior engineers, guiding their technical and professional growth.

  • Execution & Delivery: Operate within an Agile Scrum framework—actively participating in stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. Take ownership of projects, ensuring timely, high-quality deliveries.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and advocate for process improvements. Stay current with emerging technologies and lead the adoption of innovations when appropriate.

  • Production Support: Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including outside regular work hours when critical.

  • Communication: Collaborate with product teams, UI/UX engineers, and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals. Simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

What you bring: 

  • Experience: 5+ years of full-stack enterprise software development experience (UI, backend, API, database).

  • Strong foundation in software design principles and architectural patterns.

  • Proven ability to tackle technical challenges and mentor teams.

  • Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Experience with Agile development, CI/CD, and secure software practices.

  • Expertise in building multi-tenant, cloud-based, high-availability applications.

  • History of leading software projects across Web and Mobile platforms.

Required: 

  • C#, .NET (Framework 4.8 / Core 1.0 and above), ASP.NET, SQL (relational) databases, REST

  • JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, Angular or similar JavaScript frameworks

  • Unit testing (xUnit, Moq/NSubstitute), Design patterns, Git or equivalent version control

  • Cloud-native development with AWS or equivalent
